Blue Run Emerald Rye is the second release in Blue Run Spirits' rye whiskey series, following Blue Run Golden Rye. Composed of just 189 barrels and contract distilled by Blue Run Liquid Advisor Jim Rutledge at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, it is the first Blue Run rye bottled at barrel proof, offering the spicy character of rye with the depth and approachability of a fine bourbon.
