Appleton Estate Rare Blend 12 Year Old (also marketed as "Rare Casks 12 Year Old") is a premium Jamaican rum from Appleton Estate in the Nassau Valley, in continuous production since 1749. Master blender Joy Spence selects pot- and column-still rums aged a minimum of 12 years in American oak barrels, blending them into a rich, complex expression bottled at 43% ABV with notes of toasted oak, dried fruit, dark cocoa, orange peel, vanilla and coffee.
