Michter's US★1 Sour Mash Whiskey is a small-batch American whiskey distilled and bottled in Kentucky at 86 proof (43% ABV). Made with a unique grain selection that places it between a bourbon and a rye, it is aged in fire-charred new American white oak barrels and offers notes of toasted burnt sugar, spice, smoky fruit, candied cherries, and honeyed vanilla. It was named "Whisky of the Year" by The Whisky Exchange in 2019, the first American-made whiskey to receive the honor.
