Massaya Arak is a traditional Lebanese anise-flavored spirit produced by the Massaya distillery in the Bekaa Valley. It is triple-distilled from indigenous Obeïdi white grapes and blended with green aniseed, yielding a clear, aromatic spirit with a high ABV. Traditionally diluted with water and served as an aperitif alongside mezze, it is also used in cocktails.
