Banhez Espadín & Barril Mezcal Joven is an artisanal Oaxacan mezcal produced by the Banhez cooperative in San Miguel Ejutla, Oaxaca, Mexico, made from a blend of 90% Espadín and 10% Barril agave. Bottled at 42% ABV, this unaged (Joven) mezcal is mild, floral, and fruity with notes of pineapple and banana, and won Double Gold and Best Mezcal honors at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
