You can do better for the money. Bottom-third reviews at a mid-range price. Breaking Bourbon gives it 2.5/5, vs. 3/5 for the typical bourbon (357 rated). The Bourbon Culture gives it 7.6/10, vs. 7.8/10 for the typical bourbon (473 rated). Thin data, two sources.

Bulleit Barrel Strength is a cask-strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottled undiluted from select barrels, released in numbered batches. Medium-amber in color with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas, a smooth mid-palate of maple, oak, and nutmeg, and a long, dry, satiny finish with light toffee and deepened oak notes. Produced by The Bulleit Distilling Co., Louisville, KY, typically bottled around 115-125 proof.
