Budget basic
Does the job and doesn't pretend otherwise. Bottom-third reviews at a bottom-third price. Tequila Matchmaker drinkers give it 78 across 207 ratings, vs. 82 for the typical tequila (1,899 rated).
Cantera Negra Silver is a crystal-clear, unaged 100% agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico (NOM 1554), twice-distilled from cooked, roller-mill-extracted Tequilana Weber agave. It offers earthy minerality, cooked-agave sweetness, notes of citrus, and a smooth, spicy finish, making it a versatile base for cocktails.
