Barrell Foundation Bourbon is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys sourced, blended, and bottled by Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky. It is composed of 5-, 6-, 8-, and 9-year-old straight bourbons distilled and aged in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Maryland, with a mash bill of 73% corn, 23% rye, and 4% malted barley. Unlike most Barrell releases, Foundation is bottled at a more approachable, non-cask-strength proof, delivering notes of honey, toffee, cinnamon, and vanilla pudding.
