Dos Maderas PX 5+5 is a triple-aged rum produced by Williams & Humbert in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, from a blend of rums distilled in Barbados and Guyana. The rum is first aged for five years in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then shipped to Spain for a second maturation of up to five years in Spanish sherry casks, finishing in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks. This "solera"-influenced triple aging produces a dark amber rum with notes of fig, raisin, toffee and dried fruit, typically bottled at 40% ABV.
