Dos Maderas 5+3 is a rum produced by the Jerez-based sherry house Williams & Humbert under its Dos Maderas ("Two Woods") brand. Caribbean rums from Barbados and Guyana are first aged 5 years, then shipped to Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, where they are blended and further matured for 3 years in Palo Cortado sherry casks from the solera used for Dos Cortados VOS. The double-aging process yields a rich, dark rum with Caribbean fruitiness rounded out by sherry cask complexity.
