Diplomático Distillery Collection No.1 Batch Kettle Rum is a Venezuelan rum produced by Destilerías Unidas S.A. (DUSA). It is distilled entirely on the distillery's historic "batch kettle" still — a hybrid pot/column still imported from Canada in 1959 that was originally used for whisky production. Made from fermented sugarcane honey (high-sugar molasses), the rum is aged around 6 years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 47% ABV, showing notes of vanilla, ripe fruit, and spice.
