Everclear is a rectified, unaged neutral grain spirit produced by Luxco, Inc. (St. Louis, MO) from a 100% corn mash. It is column-distilled to near the ethanol-water azeotropic limit and bottled at very high proof (most commonly 190 proof/95% ABV, also sold at 151 proof/75.5% ABV), giving it an essentially flavorless, high-strength profile used for cocktails, infusions, and homemade extracts/tinctures.
