Montezuma Gold Tequila is a Mexican mixto tequila made from a blend of blue agave spirit with caramel coloring, giving it a light gold hue. It has a light-bodied profile with aromas of dried herbs, apple, and pine, and a mild, sweet agave taste suited for mixing. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is produced in Mexico and distributed in the U.S. by Barton Brands (Sazerac).
