El Padrino Extra Anejo Tequila is a 100% blue agave tequila from NOM 1438 (Destiladora del Valle de Tequila) in Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is roasted in brick ovens for 36-42 hours, then slow-fermented and distilled in copper-rimmed pot stills, giving natural notes of vanilla, coconut, caramel, hazelnut, butterscotch and oak. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), it has a rich, smooth finish and has won awards including a Tastings.com Silver Medal.
