Fortaleza Reposado is a small-batch tequila produced by the Sauza family at the historic Tequila Valley distillery in Mexico. Mature agave is slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens, crushed with a tahona stone wheel, fermented, and distilled in copper pot stills before being rested in American oak barrels for several months. The result is a smooth, balanced reposado with notes of cooked agave, citrus, caramel, vanilla, and spice, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
