Four Roses Single Barrel Private Selection Barrel Strength is an individually hand-selected single-barrel bourbon from Four Roses Distillery, chosen by retailers or accounts as a store pick and bottled uncut at full barrel (cask) strength rather than the standard 100-proof used for the flagship Single Barrel. Each pick draws from one of Four Roses' ten distinct bourbon recipes (mashbill and yeast combinations), so proof and flavor vary barrel to barrel, typically showing rich notes of dark fruit, oak, spice, vanilla and chocolate at higher-than-standard proof.
