No trusted reviews yet, so no verdict. We'll score it once critics or enough drinkers have weighed in. At ~$45 it costs less than most bourbon.
Horse Soldier Premium Straight Bourbon Whiskey is produced by American Freedom Distillery, founded by U.S. Special Forces veterans, honoring the "Horse Soldiers" who fought on horseback in Afghanistan after 9/11. This traditional straight bourbon is made from small batches of 4-year-old bourbon, non-chill filtered for a full-bodied, decadent finish, bottled at 87 proof, and was a Double Gold Medal winner at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
