Koloa Kaua'i Gold Rum is an 80-proof (40% ABV) Hawaiian rum distilled in small batches from sugar cane grown in Kalaheo, Kaua'i. Its golden color comes from caramelized sugar rather than barrel aging, and it earned a Gold Medal at the 2014 Miami Rum Renaissance Festival.
