Montelobos Tobalá is an artisanal joven (unaged) mezcal from Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, crafted by agave expert Iván Saldaña. Made from 100% cultivated Tobalá agave, it is roasted underground, wild fermented, and distilled in small copper batches, yielding aromas of lemon, green pepper, and pear with notes of citrus, basil, roasted fig, and subtle smoke.
