Penelope Toasted Straight Bourbon is a four-grain Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey that is fully matured in charred new American oak barrels, then finished in a second, hand-toasted barrel. This double-barrel finishing process, with char and toast levels that vary by batch, imparts additional notes of vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted oak. It is typically bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
