Planteray XO 20th Anniversary (formerly marketed as Plantation XO 20th Anniversary) is a blend of extra-old Barbadian rums created by Maison Ferrand to honor Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel's 20th anniversary. The rum is first aged in ex-bourbon casks in Barbados for roughly 8-15 years, then shipped to southwest France for further "double aging" in small ex-Cognac Ferrand French oak casks, yielding a smooth, complex 40% ABV rum with notes of chocolate, vanilla, banana, roasted coconut and mango.
