Pyrat XO Reserve is a blended Caribbean rum produced and bottled at the Diamond Bottling Plant owned by Demerara Distillers Ltd. (DDL) in Guyana. The blend combines nine distinct Caribbean rums, predominantly Demerara rum distilled in both traditional pot stills and DDL's John Dore High Ester Still, matured up to 15 years in a combination of American oak and French Limousin oak casks. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), it is known for its bright orange-citrus character, Demerara depth, and notes of honey, toffee, and dried fruit, and has earned high critical acclaim including 96 points from Wine Enthusiast.
