ShelfRead verdict
Excellent, and priced like it. Top-third reviews at a top-third price. Whiskybase drinkers give it 89 across 8 ratings, vs. 81.3 for the typical irish whiskey (19 rated).

Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength is a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at cask strength (typically around 55-58% ABV) rather than the standard 40% of the regular 12 Year Old. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks for a minimum of 12 years, it delivers a bolder, more intense version of Redbreast's signature profile with notes of dried and charred fruit, spice, and toasted oak.
