You can do better for the money. Bottom-third reviews at a mid-range price. Breaking Bourbon gives it 2.5/5, vs. 3/5 for the typical rye whiskey (125 rated). Whiskybase drinkers give it 83.8 across 42 ratings, vs. 84.2 for the typical rye whiskey (17 rated). Thin data, two sources.

Russell's Reserve 6 Year Old Rye is a Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey produced at the Wild Turkey Distillery under master distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell. Made from a mash bill of 51% rye, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley, it is hand-selected from center-cut barrels of the rickhouse and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), delivering a spicy profile of citrus zest, caramel, and a black pepper finish.
