Only one source has scored this: Scores in the bottom third, but so does the price. Gets the job done, nobody claims more. 2.5/5 on Breaking Bourbon against a category median of 3.5/5, across 46 rated.
TINCUP American Whiskey ("Original") is a blend of two American whiskeys: a high-rye straight bourbon distilled and aged in Indiana, married with a small amount of Stranahan's Colorado single malt whiskey, then cut with Rocky Mountain water. Each component is aged in new charred oak barrels. Bottled at 84 proof (42% ABV), it is named for the Colorado mining town of Tin Cup and the tin cups miners once drank from.
