No trusted reviews yet, so no verdict. We'll score it once critics or enough drinkers have weighed in. At ~$90 it costs more than most mezcal.

Mezcal Vago Ensamble En Barro Tío Rey is an artisanal, ancestral mezcal produced by mezcalero Salomón "Tío Rey" Rey Rodríguez in Sola de Vega, Oaxaca, Mexico. Made from a field blend of wild and cultivated agave varieties, it is hand-ground and distilled in clay pots (ollas de barro), giving each small batch a unique, earthy, mineral-driven character. Bottled at approximately 49.8%-52.3% ABV depending on the batch, it earned a Gold medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
