Only one source has scored this: Does the job and doesn't pretend otherwise. Bottom-third reviews at a bottom-third price. The Bourbon Culture gives it 6.1/10, vs. 7.7/10 for the typical rye whiskey (123 rated).

Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is crafted with a pre-prohibition style mash bill of 53% rye, yielding a spice- and tobacco-forward profile balanced with fruit, floral and sweet aromatics. Distilled and matured by the Woodford Reserve Distillery (Brown-Forman) in Kentucky, it is bottled at 90.4 proof with tasting notes of black pepper, cedar, cassia bark, clove, mint, molasses and honey, finishing long and sweetly spiced.
